brOKentoys formed in late 2007 in Sydney's western suburbs with Rod Foley, Joe Dabic, Steve Sultana and Chad Foley. The line up shifted a few times until 2009 when Troy McTear and Ian Bezzina had finally joined the group after Chad and Steve left for personal life experiences. The band developed a solid tight sound and adopted the catalogue of songs written mostly by Rod J Foley.

The band recorded in 2008 their first album of original songs, titled "Innerness" and showcased on SWR-FM 99.9 Blacktown radio, also one track, "let it out" was placed on a US compilation on iTunes called "Rock 4 Life".

The bands resume of venues grew, playing from Hotels and Clubs through out the suburbs, into The METRO and FACTORY theatres during the "Emergenza Music Festival". Then supporting "The Radiators" and "Spy VS Spy" at Penrith RSL was a highlight for the end of 2009 and into 2010.

2011 and the band had finished recording a new album set for release end of 2011, also "Innerness" has been put up on iTunes, cdbaby.com and many other sites with the new album shortly to follow. A hard working band, with jobs to pay the bills, spending the time to write music, learn songs, play fun shows and share the passion of Australian music.

At the tail end of 2011 brOKentoys, again worked with the Australian Music Industry by doing the support gig for "Mental As Anything" at the Berowra RSL club in the Northern suburbs of Sydney.

2012 brOKentoys completed their second Album titled "Simple, Ancient, Pleasure" and put that forth through iTunes and CD Baby. A very collective sound of deeper music telling and reminiscence of an older artistic sound.

2013 - 2017 brOKentoys have brought their sound back to the classic rock roots they were known for with a heavier sound and are preparing to record their 3rd CD, to be crowned king of their writing career to date. With Steve Sultana, the original founding drummer returning after Ian Bezzina left to pursue an acting and media career.

2018 and the last 6 songs written by brOKentoys has yet to be recorded, a sad story for a once great and energetic 'aussie' rock band.
